This article walks through enabling the Klaviyo integration. With this integration, you can target your Shopify customers or Klaviyo email prospects based on whether they are in a Klaviyo list or segment.
Enabling the Klaviyo Integration
You must have a Klaviyo account and your Shopify store must be connected to PostPilot before you enable this integration.
First head to the Integrations page. Scroll down to Klaviyo and click Connect.
You will then need to input your Klaviyo API credentials and select the Shopify store connected to your Klaviyo account. You will need a private API key.
If you aren't familiar with how to get your Klaviyo API credentials, see instructions here.
You will need to ensure the API key you create has the proper scopes to enable PostPilot to access your data. Specifically, you should grant "full access" rights to the list, profiles, and segments API scopes:
Once you have input your Klaviyo API Key in the appropriate field click the Save button.

Syncing Klaviyo contact data with PostPilot.
Once you've enabled the Klaviyo Integration, you are now able to choose which data to sync with PostPilot.
There are two options:
Connect a Klaviyo List of contacts
Connect a Klaviyo Segment of contacts
On the Integrations page, locate your Klaviyo integration and click Manage.
Scroll to the connected store you'd like to add the list or segment to and click Manage.
From there, click "connect a new list or segment from Klaviyo":
In the screen that follows, select the kind of audience you'd like to connect (either a Klaviyo list or segment). You can then use the dropdown to select from any available audiences available, and click "save" to add the connection to list of synchronized audiences:
PostPilot will immediately start importing your list or segment data.
Note that by default, PostPilot will sync your Klaviyo audience daily. If you need to update it more frequently, you can always do a manual sync by clicking the Sync button beside the desired audience.
How to target customers or prospects in a connected Klaviyo List or Segment
Once you've enabled the Klaviyo integration and connected a Klaviyo List or Segment you will be able to build a PostPilot segment targeting those customers. You can also target email prospects using our MailMatch™ technology.
Under your Segments section of your account click on New Segment to begin. Locate the Shopify section and click Start Sending to continue.
Find your Shopify store and click the Target button to begin building out your segment.
Simply add a Klaviyo Contact filter and select your segment or list from the drop down options. PostPilot will find customers that are part of that list or segment.
If you're sending a MailMatch™ campaign, PostPilot will attempt to find physical addresses for those prospects in order to send them a postcard.
And you're off to the races!
