# How does coupon redemption tracking work?

## How do my coupon redemptions get tracked?

### **For static code tracking, here's an example:**

Brand A has 3 campaigns:

-  Campaign A that is tracking a static code: "MVP-2022"
-  Campaign B that is also tracking a static code: "MVP-2022"
-  Campaign C that is also tracking a static code: "MVP-2022"

**Order A **redeems coupon code "MVP-2022". We can see that the recipient was included in Campaign B. We will show this as a redemption for Campaign B and not be include for campaign A or C.

**Order B** comes in with a coupon code "MVP-2022". We are unable to match the order to a specific recipient in any of the campaigns. In this case, we will show a redemption for all campaigns; A, B and C.

### **For single use coupon codes**

**Campaign A** is using a set of single use coupon codes: "fall-XXXXX" where XXXXX represents a unique number assigned to an individual card.

**Order A** redeems coupon code "fall-12345". We track that order as a redemption for Campaign A.
