Segments are groups of customers that are queried from your entire customer list. Segments allow you to group together customers that have things in common. For example, you might want to create a segment of customers that hold a common tag or live in a certain city
Segments are dynamic. This means that if the customer loses the criteria defined by the segment, the customer will automatically get removed from the segment. If a customer acquires the criteria defined by a segment, they will automatically get added to the appropriate segment.
Go to Segments > New Segment
First you'll see some simple recipes we've built to help you get started quicker.
For now we'll just go to DIY > Build.
Let’s say we want to see all US customers sharing a common tag.
In that case, we'd click Add Condition, then we would select “Tags” from the filter drop-down.
Select “include” and enter the tag you would like to segment your customers by.
If you've connected your store you'll see another section below that will provide you live counts of customers that currently match those conditions when you click Update Count.
