Integration Overview 

This article walks through enabling the Klaviyo integration. With the Klaviyo integration, you can target your Shopify customers based on whether they are in a Klaviyo list or segment.

Enabling the Klaviyo Integration

You must have a Klaviyo account and Shopify store before you enable the  integration. 

First head to the "Integrations" page. 

Scroll down to Klaviyo and click "connect."

You will then need to input your Klaviyo API credentials and select the Shopify store connected to your Klaviyo account.

Hit the "save" button. Congrats, the integration is now enabled 🚀

Syncing Klaviyo contact data with PostPilot.

Once you've enabled the Klaviyo Integration, you are now able to choose which data to sync with PostPilot. 

There are two options:

  • Connect a Klaviyo List of contacts
  • Connect a Klaviyo Segment of contacts

Both options begin the same way. 

On the Integrations page, select your Klaviyo connection. Then you'll connect a new list or segment. 

When connecting a list, simply select "list" and choose the list you'd like to connect to PostPilot. 

When connecting a segment, select "segment." You'll be prompted to provide the Klaviyo segment ID and a name for PostPilot to use internally to identify this segment. You'll use this name when targeting customers in a PostPilot Segment.

Hit the "save" button. PostPilot will immediately start importing your list or segment data. 

PostPilot will sync your Klaviyo list or segment data daily. If you need to update it more frequently you can do a manual sync by clicking the sync button. 

How to target customers in a connected Klaviyo List or Segment

Once you've enabled the Klaviyo integration and connected a Klaviyo List or Segment you will be able to build a PostPilot segment targeting those customers.

Make sure you are targeting the Shopify store that's connected to your Klaviyo connection. 

Simply create a segment and add a "Klaviyo Contact" filter. PostPilot will find customers that are part of that list or segment. 

And you're off to the races!
